Most Common Malfunctions
Fault 1 – Tape Not Cutting
- Check for glue buildup on blade - clean – oil
- Replace blades 5UN-021-1 and 026-091-0
- Check blade support stud - 600-030-0
Fault 2 - Feeds Constantly
- Check flat cable assembly 5UN-110-0
- Check keypad assembly with known good one
- Check controller board assembly with known good one
Fault 3 Machine Will Not Turn On
- Check power cord
- Check fuse ST-0882
- Check power on/off switch
Fault 4 – Tape is Cold, Heater Not Working
- Check plug connection
- Replace defective heater 5UNH-027-3
Fault 5 – Tape Not Getting Wet
- Replace worn brushes - TS37K
- Check position of brush in tank
- Check for bent lower lip assembly 5UN-028-0
