Control Panel
Keys:
① SET A : Adjust the tape lengths, or counts digit changes position
② SET B : Adjust the tape length, count, or mode "P" and "L"
- Change the operating mode in P or L
- P : Auto, Manual for self adhesive tapes
- L : Continuous operation for non adhesive materials
③ SELECT : Set the tape length & cut piece set-up, also to operate
in P and L modes
④ FWD (forward): push to feed the tape
⑥ START : Feed tape and cuts automatically or manually
⑥ REV (reverse): Push to rewind the tape
⑦ Lamp : Blinks to display "auto" mode
⑧ AUTO/MANUAL: Change the operating mode from manual to automatic.
Blinking "Lamp" confirms automatic mode.
⑨ LED : Displays the length of the tape, number of pieces, or used in
counting modes.
Just dispensing tape or other material?
To set length:
First, set the length of tape you need by pressing the "Set A" button to
alternate between the three digits. While the digit is blinking pressing
the "Set B" key will increment up the count. When you get the length you
need, stop pressing buttons and the blinking will stop in 3 seconds.
For Manual Mode:
Make sure green light above "Auto/Manual" button is not blinking. Press
"Start" each time for a piece of tape. Counter will keep count.
For Automatic Mode:
If you press "Auto/Manual" and the green light blinks, pressing "Start" will
automatically dispense tape. The counter will start counting upward.
Pressing "Select" will alternate between the total pieces dispensed and the
length set.
Counting Pieces?
Turn machine on. Press "Select" once. Press "Set B" for three
seconds and the counter will reset to "0000".
For Automatic Mode:
If you press "Auto/Manual" and the green light blinks, pressing "Start" will
automatically dispense tape. The counter will start counting upward.
Pressing "Select" will alternate between the total pieces dispensed and the
length set.
For Manual Mode:
Make sure green light above "Auto/Manual" button is not blinking. Press
"Start" each time for a piece of tape. Counter will keep count.
Need to Count Down?
Turn machine on.
First, set the length of tape you need by pressing the "Set A" button to
alternate between the three digits. While the digit is blinking pressing
the "Set B" key will increment up the count. When you get the length you
need, stop pressing buttons and the blinking will stop in 3 seconds.
Second, to get the number of pieces you need, press "Select" key and hold for
5 seconds.
Display will read "P000" or "L000". To alternate, press the "Set B"
key.
Important:
"P000" will dispense adhesive tapes and count down the
strips using the "Auto/Manual" key and count down.
"L000" will dispense non-adhesive tapes and materials
automatically without an operator present and count down. If you make a
mistake and tape starts to automatically dispense, TURN THE MACHINE OFF to save
your tape.
To select the number of pieces to count down, Press "Set A" key to alternate
between the three digits. While the digit is blinking pressing the "Set B"
key will increment up the count. When you get the number of pieces entered
you want, stop pressing buttons and the blinking will stop in 3 seconds.
For Automatic Mode:
If you press "Auto/Manual" and the green light blinks, pressing "Start" will
automatically dispense tape. The counter will start counting down.
After all the pieces have dispensed the unit will "beep".
For Manual Mode:
Make sure green light above "Auto/Manual" button is not blinking. Press
"Start" each time for a piece of tape. Counter will keep count down to
zero and "beep".
The unit will repeat the number of pieces will reset to the end of the cycle.
To start again, press the "Start" key.
